Dickinson State University Online
Located in Dickinson, North Dakota near Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Dickinson State University is a public university that was founded in 1916. Although it was originally named Dickinson State College, it was later changed to Dickinson State University in 1987.
Dickinson State University Online offers Associate’s Degrees, Bachelor’s Degrees, and Master’s Degrees in multiple areas of study, including, but limited to: Business Administration, Technology, Human Resources Management, Finance, and Agriculture Sales.
The Office of Extended Learning site shows what programs are available online in the Dickinson State University program. The classes are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the semester. Online study allows students flexibility in scheduling their study time and in completing their assigned work.
The main goal of the traditional university is “to contribute to the intellectual, social, economic and cultural development” in Southwestern North Dakota. The online arm offers the same contribution to the development of it’s students through online learning.
